Who we are
Tenterden Dementia Friendly Community is a voluntary non-profit making organisation established in April 2015.
Our mission statement is:
“To help all those affected by dementia in our community”
Tenterden Dementia Friendly Community is organised by a steering group which meets approximately once every month, with an AGM in September each year. The 2017/18 members are as follows:-

Dementia Awareness training reps – John Goulden

Singing Group reps – Jo Vos and Lindsay Hammond
Ivy Court Surgery reps – Lyndsey Webber + Sue Pay
Royal British Legion rep – Jim McKenzie
Alzheimers Society rep – Elizabeth Taylor
New members of the Steering Group who feel they have a useful contribution to make to help us in our mission are warmly welcomed.
We are currently seeking an individual to take on the role of secretary.
